This comprehensive pipe organ restoration and modernization project spans four key areas. The console was rewired and overhauled, replacing worn 1930s components with three new keyboards, a rebuilt pedalboard, and a multi-level memory solid-state control system with new stop tablets and power supplies. Second, the Great, Swell, and Choir chambers were upgraded to a compatible solid-state switching system with new wiring, a dedicated power supply, and a rebuilt tremolo stop while retaining the original electro-pneumatic magnets. Third, skilled artisans structurally restored the Swell expression machine, three main wind-chests, and three pedal offset chests—a process requiring the meticulous reconstruction of over 1,557 multi-component leather pouches and primary actions.

In this pipe organ restoration project, our dedicated team safely dismantled the instrument on-site and transported the historic pipework and major components back to our shop for a complete overhaul. The deep restoration process involved rebuilding and re-leathering core elements like the Great and Swell wind chests, fabricating approximately 122 custom pull-down tracker wires, and installing telescopic slider seals. Back on-site, we deep-cleaned the bellows, chest surfaces, rack boards, and case, while meticulously removing dents from the pipes and repairing the facade tuners. From rebuilding the pedal wind chests and refelting the pedalboard to applying a flawless new polyurethane finish to the keys and tremolo, no detail was overlooked. After fabricating a custom access panel for easy future servicing, we reassembled the organ, regulated the entire mechanical action, and carefully tuned every rank.
