Organ Builder Assistant

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Pipe Organ Builder Assistant. Primary responsibilities in the job will be to assist the Organ builder with building, restoration, maintenance and tuning of pipe organs and related projects. Candidate must be self motivated and possess strong verbal communications and interpersonal skills. AIO Certification preferred and will help to obtain if needed. Regional travel and ability to drive a van when needed is required along with a good driving record. Prior experience of at least three years is beneficial. Benefits available.

Candidate must be willing to learn the use of a solder machine, word-working machine, have the ability to work in tight spaces and are not afraid of heights (climbing inside of church spires and choir lofts) and some lifting heavy Pipe Organ components. Any experience in a factory environment or electronics/light industrial manufacturing would be a plus.
